The GCX MultiGas air purifier is highly effective in removing a wide spectrum of chemicals and gases from the air. It uses 4 filter cartridges with 22 lbs of granular activated carbon and impregnated alumina for increased efficiency. This activated carbon is effective in removing most chemicals and gases from the air while the impregnated alumina captures other chemicals, such as formaldehyde, that the carbon is not capable of removing. Each MultiGas air purifier is also equipped with a HEPA pre-filter that removes 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns and keeps larger particles from reaching the gas cartridges, prolonging filter life. 

Each IQAir air purifier utilizes a programmable timer on the advanced control panel that allows the machine to automatically turned on at the users preferred day and time. The LCD display will alert the user when the filters need to be changed and the machine offers six fan speed settings and is capable of performing up to 12 air changes in a room per hour. The unit comes with a battery operated remote control and an advanced anti-tampering system to discouraged unauthorized use and filter access.
