Airpura's 600 series of air purifiers offers a range of models that are designed to remove a wide range of pollutants from your indoor air. Some are specifically designed to tackle certain VOCs (volatile organic compounds), such as the T600, which is designed to remove tobacco smoke and its related chemicals and carcinogens from the air in your home or in a public space, or the healthcare-oriented I600, which, in addition to standard Airpura purifier features, is equipped with a UV light that sterilizes pathogens once they're adsorbed to its carbon bed.

Whatever your specific purification need is, each of the Airpura 600 air purifiers have many great features in common. Each one offers a variable speed fan/motor that can adjust filter speed to suit the cleaning task at hand. And because Airpura's air purifiers feature a simplified air flow path, they operate more efficiently and quietly than air purifier with more convoluted air flow paths.
Airpura 600 Series Air Purifier

Once dirty air is drawn in to an Airpura purifier, it dwells over enhanced carbon beds. These sponge-like carbon beds are designed to adsorb up to 60% of their weight in gases, odors, and airborne chemicals. Particles that do not adsorb to the carbon bed are caught in the True HEPA filter. True HEPA technology was designed by the Atomic Energy Commission to trap radioactive particles. When it is placed in an air purifier, it effectively traps up to 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size (that's the size of some bacteria!) from your indoor air. Airpura's unique pressure-sealed filter chamber ensures that particles that are drawn in do not escape once they are adsorbed to the carbon bed or True HEPA filters. This dynamic system makes Airpura air purifiers an ideal choice for healthcare facilities, households with compromised immune systems, or any other space that could benefit from fresher air.

All of these air purifiers feature all-metal housing, which does not "off-gas" harmful VOCs or fumes the way plastic can. What's more, Airpura's steel housing is 93% recyclable. When these air purifiers reach the end of their lives, they can be recycled or otherwise disposed of without causing harm to the environment.
