Great price, fast delivery (with no shipping charge). The cord winder works just like the original. Very good!

Had to replace the control valve and the cordwinder did not work very well so I installed this and a new motor since I had everything apart. The videos make it look much easier than it is as I had a hard time breaking the two sliders loose that hold the top & bottom canister halves together and then getting everything inside just right so the halves could be rejoined. It took me several attempts before everything was just right. Take your time. It you are going to replace the cordwinder, replace the control valve also as they are well known to fail. I replaced my motor also even though it still worked. Noticed some better suction afterwards. Hoping this unit will last a long time and much cheaper than buying a top of the line new unit for close to $1000.

Q & A

Customers Questions and Answers
Question:After changing the cordwinder and putting it back together, the power light shows it's getting power, but the machine won't run and the temperature light is on. What did I miss? - Carole (09/18/2014)
Answer:If the temperature light is on you have a problem with the thermostat which is located in one of the carbon brushes of the motor.
