Are you searching for a lightweight upright? Do you love Dyson's ball technology but wish all that swiveling ability and powerful suction can be contained in a more compact cleaner? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you're in luck because in exactly three months the Dyson Small Ball Upright Vacuum Cleaner will be available for sale on our website!
Despite its name, the new Dyson Small Ball does not have a small ball, but rather Malaysian engineers have "compressed Dyson technology into a compact body to produce an ever more advanced and light upright machine" (James Dyson, founder of Dyson). With that said, the Dyson Small Ball is 30 percent smaller compared to a traditional upright and weighs 5 pounds less than a full-sized counterpart. This allows you to store this vacuum in tight spaces and makes carrying up and down flights of stairs a breeze.
To maximize cleaning efficiency, the new Dyson Small Ball is equipped with Dyson's Two Tier Radial Technology. In this case, 19 small cyclones (as opposed to 32) are stacked across two tiers to separate tiny debris down to 0.5 microns in size from the fast-flowing air stream. The centrifugal forces generated by these cyclones then deposit dirt and dander directly into a 0.21 gallon dust cup.
Moreover, with the retractable hose handle, you are able to get the same cleaning reach as a full-sized upright without the heavy lifting. Better yet, the Dyson Small Ball has a 45% longer cleaning reach than the Dyson Ball Compact. The cleaning radius of the former is 42.5 ft, and the latter is 28 ft.
So far, the Dyson Small Ball has been released in the UK, and customers have been posting reviews left and right on their website.
"Loved this machine. The new longer cable is great and means I can do more rooms without changing the plug. The suction is fantastic and love the switch from min to max!"

"Excellent Design, very easy to use. It is smaller and lighter and very powerful. I have a DC65, I thought this was good but my Dyson small ball is exceptional. Highly recommended!"

"The Dyson Small Ball Animal has joined my Dyson collection. I currently use the DC25 Animal. The Small Ball is far more versatile being a lot lighter and easier to manage without losing suction power. The head is slightly narrower and can fit into smaller gaps. Easy to carry up stairs, and the retractable wand makes it easy for compact storage. All round a top functioning machine and highly recommended."

"This smaller sized upright is an excellent option for those wanting a lightweight, maneuverable vacuum that can also get into tight corners and you can use the telescopic handle as you would use a cordless. Has all the suction of the full size upright. I love that the handle pops up so that it is a comfortable height for normal vacuuming but easily pops down again for storage."
