Love my new Oreck. Have had 3 over the years for myself and bought one for my mother and mother in-law. I still have an old one and can tell the difference with the new. Good suction power and love the Oreck features with long cord and being lightweight. Plus my new one has lights which I did not have on my others. On the advice of a friend I bought a couple of Shark vacuums and did not like at all. Oreck is the best !
