Electrolux central vacuum hoses come in two basic varieties, corded (a.k.a pig-tail) or direct connect. Oftentimes when purchasing a central vacuum hose it may arrive in the wrong configuration for your type of inlet valves. eVacuumStore.com allows you to specify which type of inlet valves you have when ordering your new hose and will ship your new hose already in the proper configuration.
STEP 1: Depress tab, to release.
STEP 2: Disconnect wires.
STEP 3: Reconnect new wires.
STEP 4: Align with notches.
STEP 5: Ensure seated.
STEP 6: Replace hose cuff.
