Electrolux Bagless Access T8 Product Review

Electrolux Bagless Access T8 Product Review

A few weeks ago, we took the Electrolux EL4335A UltraFlex Bagless for a spin on our low-pile carpeting and bare floor surfaces. Today, we got to learn more about Electrolux Bagless Vacuums by taking the Electrolux Access T8 for a test drive.

Electrolux EL4071A Access T8 Bagless Canister Vacuum

When taking this bagless canister out of its box, we noticed that the Electrolux Access T8 is extremely lightweight and guesstimated that it weighed under ten pounds. True to our assumptions, the owner's manual confirmed our suspicions with a product weight spec of 8.6 pounds. This makes the ideal gift for an elderly loved one or anyone who has low upper body strength. Even better, the dark gray chrome carry handle makes for effortless transportation from room to room. With this feature, you never have to drag the canister along behind you or reach for something to grab onto.

To start off our testing, we vacuumed our trusty wall-to-wall low-pile carpet found in our store lobby. This was done using the included Electrolux EL4071A Turbo Nozzle. Thanks to the 360-degree swivel neck, motorized brushroll, and rubberized wheels, we found this nozzle to be very nimble around sharp corners and provided just the right amount of carpet agitation to lift up the toughest dirt and grime. However, we can't give the Electrolux El4071A Turbo Nozzle all the credit. After all, the multi-cyclonic cleaning system is always hard at work keeping dirt and debris separated from the fast-flowing air stream.

Electrolux Access T8 Cyclones

Unlike the Electrolux El4335A bagless vacuum, the Electrolux Access T8 utilizes a cylindrical dust cup as opposed to one shaped like a trapezium to collect debris. This makes the size of the dust chamber slightly smaller with a total capacity of 1.2 dry quarts as opposed to 1.4 dry quarts. For optimum performance, it's important never to fill past the solid white MAX line. If you do, the cyclones may get filled with debris, which impacts the vacuum's suction power. For easy monitoring, the cylindrical dust cup is see-thru, so you can observe your dirt intake as you vacuum.

When full, a simple two-step process should get it back up and running like new!To separate the dust chamber from the canister, squeeze inward on two gray tabs found on top of the orange dust container lid. Next, find a trash can and push on the silver lever found just below the dust cup carry handle. Once all waste is removed, simply reinsert back into the canister and get back to doing what you (or, at least, we) love most.

Of course, no Electrolux canister vacuum would ever be complete without a few trusty attachments. By purchasing the Electrolux Access T8, you are the proud owner of a premium Electrolux crevice tool, combination dusting and upholstery tool, bare floor brush, handheld Turbo brush, and low profile nozzle. With these accessories, you can reach under beds, vacuum drapes, and clean tile or hardwood without having to worry about unwanted scuffs from motorized brushrolls.

Electrolux Access T8 Controls

To turn the vacuum off, simply press the gray power button and retract the 16.5 ft cord using the handy automatic cord rewind feature. For convenient storage, use the docking clip found on the backside of the Electrolux EL4071A Turbo Nozzle to append this attachment to the side of the canister.

Overall, the Electrolux Access T8 is a great bagless canister vacuum for low-pile carpeting and bare floor surfaces. eVacuumStore highly recommends for studio apartments, dorm rooms, and other living arrangements with these floor types. To get yours today for only $249.99, dial 1-866-972-8227 to speak with a trained vacuum specialist.
