How to Assemble a ProTeam Upright

How to Assemble a ProTeam Upright

Just purchased a ProTeam upright vacuum cleaner? Read on through our step-by-step guide on how to put it all together.

1. Inventory of Parts

When you first open your eVacuumStore shipment, you are going to be greeted with an array of parts. You have an ergonomic handle that needs to be attached to the vacuum body, a carrying handle that must be attached to the backside of the vacuum using a flathead screwdriver, a 7 ft crushproof hose, crevice tool, dusting brush, and lastly a cleaning wand. With so many parts, it's easy to get overwhelmed. However, ProTeam does a good job of giving customers a self-help guide to assembling your vacuum cleaner with high-quality graphic images, and eVacuumStore has created its own step-by-step instructions on how to assemble this model.

2. Attach Handle

Stand the vacuum body upright and have the backside facing towards you. Next, take the ergonomic handle and insert it into the channel. When the handle bushing hole on the handle tube aligns with the nut plate hole on the bag housing, you have correctly inserted the handle.

3. Attach Carry Handle

To attach the carry handle, you need to align the hole in the center of the plastic handle with the hole on the handle tube. To help guide you, there are also two holes on the upper left and right sides of the main hole that attach to two rubber notches on the back of the bag housing. Once everything is aligned, you use a flathead screwdriver to attach the carry handle to the ergonomic handle.

4. Wind Power Cord

After attaching the carrying handle, it's time to wrap the 39 ft power cord around the cord hook located near the ergonomic handle and along the underside of the carrying handle. The two images below highlight the main points of contact.

5. Attach hose and cleaning wand

On the upright, you will see two holes that designate where the cleaning wand and hose sit on the vacuum. The smaller hole is for the cleaning wand, and the bigger hole is for the hose. In between, there is a clamp that is meant to hold the bulk of the hose in place. The images below highlight the main points of contact.

6. Attach On Board Tools

The final step is to attach the crevice tool and dusting brush to the posts on the carrying handle.
