Re-position the SEBO Felix Filter Bag by making sure the 4 small tabs on the sealing plate fit into the appropriate grooves. The front tab should loosely fit over the wire latch lock. Push the filter bag cover down firmly until you hear a distinct snap that indicates the cover release flap is locked in place.

1. Align SEBO Filter Retaining Ring Clips
The SEBO Felix S-Class Exhaust Filter strategically wraps itself around the upright to absorb motor noise and remove 99.9% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size. The first step to changing this filter is aligning the retaining ring clips with the seam found on the backside of the upright.

Use your thumb to push the clip in the direction of the arrow and pull upward. This should release the clasp; allowing you to remove from the upright.

4. Replace SEBO Felix S-Class Exhaust Filter
To replace, insert the plastic strip on one end of the filter into the housing slot and use one hand to hold in place while you wrap the filter around the upright. Insert the other end of the reinforced plastic strip into the housing slot. Make sure to pull taut.

5. Replace SEBO Felix Filter Retaining Rings
Re-attach the two SEBO filter retaining rings to the top and bottom of the exhaust filter. Repeat this process every time you have used 15 to 20 SEBO Felix filter bags.

How to Change SEBO Automatic X4 Motor Filter

In order to reach the interior housing of the SEBO Automatic X4, you must pull on the dust compartment lid release located on the body of the upright.
2. Removing SEBO Automatic X4 Micro-Hygiene Filter
Unlike other upright models, the ABS plastic cover that protects the SEBO Automatic X4 Micro-Hygiene Filter will separate completely from the upright. To remove the filter, clasp the gray hinge and pull out.
3. Replacing SEBO Automatic X4 Micro-Hygiene Filter
To replace, simply lift the silver safety lever and slide in the new filter using the tracks as guides.
4. Re-attaching SEBO Automatic X4 Motor Filter Cover
To re-attach , align the two black pegs at the bottom of the filter cover with the corresponding holes on the upright, and push forward on the cover release flap to lock the SEBO Automatic X4 Motor Filter and SEBO Automatix X4 Filter Bag inside compartment.

1. Press Foot Pedal
The SEBO Automatic X4 Exhaust Filter cleverly hides underneath the power nozzle. To reach, you must push down on the orange foot pedal to fully extend the vacuum flat.
2. Remove SEBO Automatic X4 Exhaust Filter
To reach the SEBO Automatic X4 Exhaust Filter, gently push backward on the gray catch to push the black exhaust filter cover upward. Remove both the exhaust filter and cover from machine.
3. Replace SEBO Automatic X4 Exhaust Filter
Take your fresh SEBO Automatic X4 Exhaust Filter and insert into appropriate location. Reattach cover and stand vacuum upright.
