Miele Triflex Setup and Configuration

How to setup your Miele Triflex HX1 Cordless Vacuum

Please see this helpful image on how to configure the Miele Triflex, Miele Triflex Cat & Dog, or the Miele Triflex Pro.
Miele Triflex Set Up

NOTE: If you installed the battery in the incorrect position and are having trouble removing the top handle, please make sure that the power switch is in the off position. You will not be able to remove the top handle with the switch in the on position. The battery charge level indicator only works when charging while on the vacuum, you can still charge the Miele Triflex Battery separately but please note the battery will not show the level until reinstalled on the vacuum. You can pick up a spare Miele Triflex Battery or a separate Charging Cradle for all Miele Triflex Vacuums (included with Triflex HX1 Pro models).

Using the Electric Powerhead on the Miele Triflex HX1

NOTE: The powerhead is a combination between motorized and air driven. The powerhead will work when it meets resistance from a carpet or rug. If there's no resistance, the motorized powerhead will not come on. For instance, if you're vacuuming hardwood, tile or any other smooth surface, the machine will not experience resistance and the motorized powerhead will not come on. Most vacuum manufacturers recommend not using a powerhead on hardwood, so that why you will see some changes when moving from smooth surfaces to carpet or rug. The Miele Triflex is designed to sense what type of flooring its cleaning and will adjust its cleaning performance accordingly. The powerhead also will not work when locked upright.
