These Kits Work Great for Hardwood Floors and Low-Pile Carpeting!
These air-driven attachment kits work great for homes that have primarily hardwood/smooth-surface flooring and/or low-pile carpeting. The TurboCat kits, especially, are designed for low-pile carpeting thanks to their air-driven rotating cleaning brush. Aside from the TurboCat kits, another important aspect that you'll want to take note of are the kits that include a hose with an on/off switch. This nifty feature will allow you to turn the central vacuum on and off simply at the handle, without having to remove the hose. Die hard old school Electrolux user here. My Oxygen canister model from the early 2000s finally gave out and sadly I couldn’t get replacement parts. After a lot of research, I landed on the Sebo and am thrilled with the choice. Totally worth the investment. Does great on thin rugs, thick rugs, and laminate flooring. 2 very minor wishes - the included dust brush needs a better design for baseboards and the hardwood flooring brush could use a couple more inches in width.
