kinda fits good on the hose & hardwood brush head; doesn't really fit power head, though

Perfect! I needed to replace my original wand that had the Electric connection. None of the Amazon wands were the electric type, nor were they actual Miele products - only Miele compatible. I use my vacuum too much to mess around with parts that may or may not work.
