The attachment does not have strips of polyester weave that are ideal for cleaning upholstery and fabric, like the smaller attachment. Instead it has bristled rubber strips the serve absolutely no purpose.

Just recently ordered and recieved the extra wide upholstery tool. I absolutely love it. I really liked the regular-sized tool that came with my C3 Marin but it took a while to clean my entire sofa, but the extra wide tool makes cleaning a breeze, as it covers more surface! Highly recommend this tool if you own the Milele vacuum cleaner. Plus you can't beat the price of less than $40. A must have for sure!

This wide Upholstrery tool makes your life "unbelievably" EASY!!!! I would estimate that it took at least 50% time off my vacuuming. Since I do all furniture and drapes when I'm vacuuming. Due to everyone having allergies I household. I thought about the price and felt they could double it and it would be MORE than worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!

I have dog hair on a couple of rugs that is hard to pick up with the carpet head on my Miele which has no powered carpet brush. I had been using the traditional small upholstery tool with success in picking up dog hair from the rug. When I saw the same tool in larger size, I grabbed it. Works great! Wider head means fewer passes. The Velcro like edge traps the hair for easy picking.
