I was hoping to get a muffler and filter/purifier- only the later will be the case. No appreciable change in noise with it installed. Easy to install with the suggested optional 90 degree elbow . Didn’t need any tools- friction fit was fine. Less than 5 minutes install. Wish I knew about the external filtering options years ago ! Even though it’s in the attached garage, the light dust accumulation adds up- expect this to greatly help.
