Only issue was the brush holders on the new unit are wider than the original. Had to remove the brush holder to get the plastic ring to slip over the motor. Other than that very happy. Parts arrived in < 1 week and were packaged very nicely.

Easy to install, works great, the vacuum sounds like new and it's probably 30 years old. Happy to have my vacuum back.

I purchased this for our old Renaissance vacuum that had been handed down to us MANY years ago! Wife wanted to throw it away and buy a new one, but I figured for about $100 what's the worst that can happen?? The shape was ever-so-slightly different, but it fit right in and fired right up and it's running like it hasn't in awhile! Some advice - take pictures and take note of which wire goes where. You'll be reusing the old wires. Also, take pictures of where the cord reel and other parts go! I struggled a bit with getting the reel back in the right way. Other than that, installation was a breeze and this place couldn't be easier to work with!
