Electrolux Plastic Canister Cord Winder Assembly

Perfect replacement for the winder on our Lux 7000. The video was very helpful. The only tricky part was getting the rubber covered plastic strips on each side of the vacuum to budge. I ended up pulling off the rubber covers so I could get more force on the plastic strips. Once I was able to move the strips a bit using a blunt screwdriver and a mallet they slid off easily. I put the rubber covers on the plastic strips before reinstalling them. They slid on nicely. Our old cord was black and the new one is brown, but it still looks fine.
