Description

Electrolux sheath cord is the cord inside of the plastic sheath. This cord typically burns out it you remove the hose form the power head while it is still running or in some cases its just a wear and tear item. If the cord is burned out you will also want to inspect the female connections on the hose to make sure the electrical contact on the hose are not burned out. Also if your power nozzle cord falls out while vacuuming then replacing the sheath cord will solve this problem.

I've been fighting with the power nozzle attachment on my vacuum for over two years now and was almost ready to junk my 35 year old Electrolux until I found this part. Easy to install and the power nozzle once again works great!

This cord did not fix the problem of my power nozzle not turning on (ended up having to replace the power nozzle cord) but it's nice to have a fresh clean sheath cord and the instructional video was EXTREMELY helpful.

Fit perfectly. Glad there was a demo video on how to open Sheath. Also glad the Power Nozzle Cord 409 was shown as a Related Product. Both needed if cord is yanked sideways and burns both Sheath cord and Power Nozzle cord.
