Dimensionally this is the same beater brush as the commercial. However, it fit in the Discovery somewhat better than the commercial which was catching on the metal arms that are on that model. Once you get a new beater brush installed it makes a world of difference, not only in the ease with which the vac moves, but in the pickup on the carpet. At the same time I like to install a new belt, since they tend to also wear.

Considering that the product shown and the caption said “genuine” Electrolux PN-5/-6 brush, I was dismayed when I received a generic one. It has now been a week since I got them and I haven’t had anyone respond to my emails or chats to arrange a return. I’m not very happy with the false advertising…. even less with the lack of response.
