Description

This attachment is designed to effectively vacuum a Shag carpet.
The carpet rake bristles are made of plastic and are one inch long.

The wand opening is 1 1/4 Inches and the carpet rake is 12 Inches wide. For vacuums with square wands, use the square to round adapter. Perfect for getting deep in between the fibers of a shag rug without harming the delicate hairs. While most combination tools will only graze the surface and brush roll tools will get caught by the fibers, this shag rug rake will loosen the forgotten dirt underneath that top layer, giving you a fresh clean that will make your favorite carpet look like new.

The rake fits my in house vac system, but one if the rakes came off on first use. I popped it back on but it keeps coming off.

We have a shag area rug and oh my word it about killed me to vacuum it with my upright and when I tried my mighty might it work easier but I did't feel like it made it "fresh" looking. I remembered using a shag rake way back when, so I searched here and sure enough here it is! It fits my mighty might perfectly and does a beautiful job. It rakes the carpet and any hair or dirty bounced up and gets pulled into the vacuum. Amazing product!
