This canister vacuum has a built-in nine-foot wand that can reach practically anywhere in your home, so you tackle above-the-floor cleaning with ease. Do not buy this vacuum cleaner! I have owned Kenmore‘s for many many years. My last one lasted over 20 years the beater bar or powerhead for carpets is what gave it up. The vacuum cleaner part still works. This new one is only five years old and it’s only used every couple of weeks. That new telescoping wand that they invented is a piece of crap. I hardly ever use mine maybe twice and the wire inside broke so therefore the carpet attachment does not work. And they do not sell the replacement wand through the kenmore company. You have to order it through pirates who sell it at ridiculously high prices. They need to redesign it and get away from that telescoping wand and go back to the design they had before where the wiring goes on the outside and it’s held together in clips. Whoever thought of this new system knew it wouldn’t last if they product tested it like they should have and I know they’ve gotten thousands of complaints about it and still haven’t changed the design. SO DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM CLEANER!
This vacuum was just what I was looking for and not found in stores. It is easy to use even for my daughter with physical impairments.
