I needed a new power connector between the handle shaft and the floor power unit

I needed a new power connector between the handle shaft and the floor power unit. But for an old Kenmore canister vacuum there are not many options for parts. I ended up getting a 2 wire cord, clipped off the connector and soldered the wires with the existing 5 wire cord. Worked perfectly and I was happy to find the cord finally at eVacuumStore.

This was a pain to install; I had to remove almost every part of the power head to get it in place... but it saved my vac, and saved me the $350 it would have cost for a replacement. 4 stars only because... did I mention it was a pain to install?
