Lindhaus Quick Release Telescopic Wand

I have purchased several of these wands over a four year period, each time because the previous wand broke within a month or less. The black plastic buttons for adjusting the wand would break each time, preventing the wand to be adjusted in length. The wand would then be stuck on one length. The spring button attaching the control handle to the wand also breaks easily, requiring he handle and wand to be physically held together while vacuuming so the two pieces don't detach. This has been very costly and terribly inconvenient replacing this part on an ongoing basis and having to continually use a broken part. Only two wands were replace at no charge. I purchased two and received a replacement for each one, then I had to purchase two more as the replacements each broke. I've gone through six wands now in just 4 years! Before ordering to replace my wand AGAIN, please tell me if the faults of this product have been improved.
