The Riccar RPT-1 Central Vacuum Deluxe Attachment Kit is for use with Riccar Central Vacuums. This central vacuum attachment kit includes a 35 foot hose that fits pigtail style or direct-connect systems, a full size power nozzle with a headlight, and stainless steel telescopic wand. It also comes with natural bristle cleaning tool attachments, a handheld turbo brush (for cleaning carpeted stairs and removing pet hair from furniture), and a lightweight telescopic wand.

The natural bristle cleaning tool can be used three different ways: as a crevice tool, a brush attachment, or as a floor tool. This kit also includes a hardwood floor brush to clean bare flooring surfaces like tile, hardwood, and linoleum. Additionally, this set includes a hose hanger and heavy-duty caddy to store the hose and accessories. This kit weighs a total of 24 pounds.

The brushroll comes with six different settings to clean multiple carpet types and floor surfaces. Each press of the pedal will adjust the height to a new carpet height position. To determine the setting you are on, look through the height indicator window on the top of the unit.

The six settings and their intended uses are as follows: XHI - very plush carpet, HI - plush carpet, Auto - standard carpet thickness or bare floors, MED - medium pile carpet, LO - low pile carpet, and XLO - indoor/outdoor carpet. When using the power nozzle, start on the “auto” setting, and if pushing the power nozzle seems sluggish/difficult, adjust to a higher setting. If it feels too easy, choose a lower setting for more effective cleaning.
