The Shop-Vac 5 Gallon 6.0 Peak HP Portable wet/dry vacuum offers heavy duty power, stored conveniently in a portable size. It’s fantastic for cleaning wet and dry messes in your garage, workshop, or basement. You can even attach the hose to the rear blower port to get dirt out of hard-to-reach places or remove grass clippings from your sidewalk.

This vacuum has a 7-foot Lock-On hose and uses 5-8 gallon high-efficiency disposable filter bags. Its hand-held design makes it easier to use than the average Shop-Vacthat needs to be dragged around throughout your home, and the blower feature is super convenient. Accessories can be stored on-board so you’ll always have them when you need them.

For dry pick up, you must use a dry use filter on the lid cage. Using this wet/dry vacuum without a filter will cause dust to discharge from the blower port and cause damage to the motor. If the foam sleeve is installed on the lid cage, remove it before installing the cartridge filter.

The cartridge filter can be used for dry pick up and for small quantities of wet pick up. If you plan to pick up large quantities of water, we recommend using a foam sleeve instead of the cartridge filter. If you plan to pick up fine dust or powders, you must use a high-efficiency filter bag with the cartridge filter. If you use the cartridge filter for wet pickup, it must be cleaned and dried before you use it for dry pickup.

With the tank cover in the upside-down position, slide the cartridge filter down over the lid cage. Push it down until the filter seals over the cover. Place the filter retainer into the top of the cartridge filter. Hold the tank cover with one hand and turn the handle on the filter retainer clockwise to tighten it - locking the filter into place.
