The Airpura R600 air purifier combines True HEPA particle filtration with an 18-pound activated carbon filter for everyday indoor air cleaning. It is an option for homes and offices where airborne dust, pollen, pet dander, household odors, and airborne chemicals are concerns.
Three-Stage Filtration for Everyday Use
The standard R600 configuration includes a vacuumable poly prefilter, an 18-pound coconut-shell activated carbon filter, and a True HEPA filter with 40 square feet of filter media. The prefilter collects larger particles, carbon adsorbs airborne chemicals and odors, and the HEPA stage captures fine airborne particles.
Airpura rates the True HEPA filter to capture 99.97% of airborne particles at least 0.3 microns in size. That filtration rating describes particle capture, not a promise to eliminate every pollutant from a room. Carbon and HEPA perform different jobs, allowing the R600 to address both particles and odors within one machine.
Adjustable Airflow and Practical Design
A variable-speed control lets you adjust airflow to the room and your preferred operating setting. Airpura lists a 560 CFM free-flow fan rating; this is not a filtered clean-air delivery rate. The R600 distributes air through a 360-degree design and uses a powder-coated steel housing with casters for repositioning.
The machine measures 23 inches high by 15 inches wide. These are appliance dimensions, not shipping-carton measurements. Airpura lists no ozone emissions for the R600.
Plan for Filter Maintenance
Airpura’s published replacement guidance is approximately 12 months for the poly prefilter, 24 months for the standard carbon filter, and three to five years for the True HEPA filter. Actual replacement needs depend on use and pollutant loading. Vacuum the prefilter as directed and follow the owner’s manual for filter servicing.
