What are AirWatts?Air watts are the true measurement of overall vacuum performance at the motor. Maximum Air watts is recognized by the American Society of Testing and Materials as the best way to measure the actual cleaning power of a central vacuum system.
Formula to calculate Air watts: (Suction) x (Airflow) divided by 8.5 = Air watts.
Features
- Routes excess exhaust outside of the home.
- Foam filled muffler which substantially reduces the operating noise of the vacuum
- Debris bucket at the bottom of the unit holds up to 6 gallons of dust and dirt
- Some hoses have a solid trigger ring that electrically connects the valve's sensing pins whenever the hose is inserted into the valve, which starts the vacuum. Other hoses have a split trigger ring that's connected to a low-voltage control switch in the hose's handle, allowing the operator to control the vacuum unit's power.
