Bissell 1607390 Hose

I bought this hose hoping against common sense it would fit my older canister model 1161. I can now confirm for the reader of this review that bissell did indeed change the coupling in order to render the old model obsolete. However, this is not the fault of the seller, who sent me the part at a 1/3 of what bissell was asking for it.

I was able to remove and swap the ill-fitting end; it arrived quickly and in good condition. Next time though I think I'll look for a few feet of generic hose instead.
