The Bissell 2880A Perfect Sweep TURBO Cordless Floor Sweeper offers quick and easy cleaning, picking up daily dirt and unexpected messes between vacuum cleaning. Whether the dog left hair on the rug or the cat spilled dry food, the Perfect Sweep Turbo has the cordless cleaning capability to handle it. It’s lightweight and small and the powerful battery provides up to 60 minutes of cordless cleaning. It works on area rugs, carpet, and hardwood floors, making it an indispensable part of your cleaning regimen. When you’re done cleaning, dump the debris in the trash with the easy-empty dirt bin.
To assemble the Perfect Sweep Turbo, arrange the handle sections so that the threaded ends fit together, and twist it clockwise until it’s secure. Screw the handle clip to the long threaded piece of the bottom handle section. (The middle handle section can be removed to shorten the handle length.) Then align the release button on the handle clip with the opening on the foot of the sweeper. Push the handle into the opening. The handle will click into place once it’s correctly aligned. Fully charge the Perfect Sweep Turbo before you use it.
To charge your Perfect Sweep Turbo, plug the DC adapter into a standard electrical outlet and plug it into the charging port on the back of the unit. The charging indicator light will illuminate once it’s properly connected and turn off once it’s fully charged. The power switch must be in the OFF position to charge. If the battery is fully exhausted while in use, press the power switch once to turn it off before charging.
The first time you charge, allow the battery to charge uninterrupted for at least 16 hours. After your first time charging, allow the battery to charge for at least 12 hours. Decreased operating time may indicate that the battery has built up a charging resistance. To recharge it, completely exhaust the battery, then recharge it, and exhaust it again before you recharge it a second time. This process might be required more than once. When you’re done charging, unplug the Perfect Sweep Turbo from the charger.
