Should a clogged hose, misapplied vacuum bag or other issue begin to cause overheating, the vacuum cleaner will automatically be shut off by the fuse protector, thus avoiding any potential damage to the machine.
The fuse protector can be easily reset after tripping so it can continue to protect the vacuum from damage.
