The EbacUSA CD100E Commercial Dehumidifier combines the CD100 range’s moisture-removal performance with additional monitoring features for permanent installations. An adjustable control humidistat maintains the selected humidity level, while a separate alarm humidistat and voltage-free remote alarm connector provide a way to identify high-humidity conditions remotely. The CD100E also includes a power-on indicator and an hours-run meter for tracking operating time.

Commercial and Industrial Applications

Ebac identifies warehouses, storage rooms, electrical and communications switching stations, locker rooms, basements, pumping stations, offshore oil rigs and active or laid-up marine vessels as applications for the CD100 range. The CD100E’s additional alarm features are particularly useful where remote monitoring is required. Its supplied wall mounting bracket and installation kit support a fixed setup, and the manufacturer also lists free-standing operation.

For storage and equipment spaces, automatic humidistat control allows the dehumidifier to cycle as needed rather than relying on repeated manual adjustments. Confirm capacity against the room’s actual moisture load and operating conditions before selecting a unit.

Performance and Construction

Ebac publishes a typical extraction rating of 97 pints per day and airflow of 324 CFM for the CD100E. Its reverse-cycle defrost system supports operation down to 33°F, within a published operating range of 33°F to 95°F. Moisture condenses on the evaporator, collects in the condensate tray and drains through the condensate tube; the outgoing air is reheated by the condenser.
