Digital humidity control lets you enter a specific humidity level and view actual room humidity. The unit automatically switches on and off as needed to maintain the selected level, providing controlled drying rather than requiring continuous manual adjustment.

The CD425-D range was developed for warehouses, factories, offices, and other large facilities where excess moisture and condensation can affect equipment, inventory, and the building itself. Performance and Construction

Ebac lists typical extraction at 285 pints per day, with 1,750 CFM airflow. Moist air passes over a cold evaporator coil, where water condenses and collects for removal by the internal pump. The air then passes over the condenser coil and returns to the space warmer and with lower absolute humidity. Actual extraction varies with temperature and humidity.

The reverse-cycle defrost system and electronic defrost control support operation at ambient temperatures from 33°F to 95°F. A compressor restart-delay timer, operating-status indicators, and power-on indicator provide additional control and monitoring.

A welded-steel chassis with protective epoxy and vinyl coatings is designed for demanding industrial environments. This configuration uses a reciprocating compressor and R454c refrigerant. The included pump handles condensate removal; Ebac’s feature table does not list the gravity-drain arrangement for this pump-equipped version.
