The Ebac DD200 Desiccant Dehumidifier brings commercial humidity control to cold environments and spaces where room is limited. Its compact, rugged design makes it easier for one person to transport and position the unit between drying jobs.

Designed to remove up to 40 pints of moisture per day under AHAM conditions, the DD200 uses desiccant drying technology rather than refrigerant. It can operate at temperatures as low as -4°F, making it an option for demanding low-temperature applications. Actual moisture removal depends on operating conditions.

How Desiccant Drying Works

The DD200 removes moisture through adsorption, a process in which moisture collects on the surface of a desiccant material rather than being absorbed into it. A silica gel wheel and internal heater work together to produce drier air, helping reduce humidity and support the drying of damp spaces and surfaces.

A Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater supports drying during operation. Because this system does not rely on refrigerant, it is suited to humidity control in very cold conditions.
