The EbacUSA DD900 Desiccant Dehumidifier helps maintain low-humidity conditions where moisture can contribute to corrosion, condensation, or problems with moisture-sensitive products. This listing is for the 220V, 3-phase model, part number 10520GR-US, not the separate 460V version.
Its upright, compact design fits applications where installation space is limited. Unlike a refrigeration dehumidifier that collects liquid water, the DD900 uses a silica-gel rotor to remove moisture from process air and releases that moisture through a separate heated regeneration-air stream.
Commercial and Industrial Applications
The DD900 is designed for cooler environments, deep-drying applications, and processes that require low humidity or a low dew point. It can support moisture control during the manufacture, packaging, and storage of hygroscopic products, as well as applications where limiting condensation and corrosion is important.
With a manufacturer-listed operating range of -4°F to 104°F, the DD900 offers a desiccant-drying option for conditions where low-temperature performance matters. Actual moisture removal depends on air conditions and the selected settings.
Performance and Construction
Two variable-speed EC fans and an adjustable electronic thermostat let you configure the unit for High Extraction, High Efficiency, or Deep Drying. At Ebac’s stated test conditions of 27°C and 60% relative humidity, the 220V model is rated at 364 pints per day in High Extraction, 286 pints per day in High Efficiency, and 323 pints per day in Deep Drying.
High-capacity PTC heaters provide heat for the regeneration process, while process and regeneration air filters protect the airflow paths. Electronic controls, manual/automatic mode selection, status indicators, and an hours-run meter help operators manage and monitor use. Rubber anti-vibration feet support the free-standing installation.
The DD900 also provides a connection facility for an external humidistat to maintain a preset humidity condition. Humidistats, stainless-steel construction, and inlet duct attachments are optional, not standard included equipment.
