How the K100P Removes Moisture

A fan draws moist air across a cold evaporator coil, cooling it below its dew point so moisture condenses. The collected water enters a condensate tray and is removed by the internal pump. The air then passes across the warm condenser coil, where recovered heat and heat from the compressor reheat it before it returns to the room.

Continued air circulation gradually reduces humidity in the space. The adjustable internal humidistat switches the unit on and off to maintain the selected humidity level, while the reverse-cycle defrost system manages ice buildup when needed.
