Description

The 30 foot pistol grip electric central vacuum hose fits all Electrolux central vacuum models 1580, 1590, and Centralux. This central vacuum hose has an adaptor that allows it to be used on inlet valves that have a direct plug in or can be used with standard valves that require a pig tail cord. Super valves with an additional 110 volts built-in will necessitate the direct connect hose, while standard valves will necessitate a pig-tail hose. To use motorized attachments with a pig-tail hose, the 6 foot cord must be plugged in to a nearby electrical outlet.

Had a 24 year old Electrolux Central Vac and the handle of the hose broke. eVac at first sent the wrong one but after a call they sent me the right one. It works great.

This is a well made replacement hose compatible with older Electrolux Central Vacuums and accessories. The hose is not as kink-proof as the original, but seems rugged. Definitely the handle and integrated two position switching is superior to the original. A down side is that there is no suction regulator in the handle.

I replaced an original Electrolux hose (about 29 years old) with this new hose..what a difference! It is lighter, 5 feet longer and has the switch on the pistol grip..(the old one didn't). The only downside is this hose has a tendancy to "kink" more easily eventhough it is crush proof. So you have to be sure you're uncurling it.
