Electrolux Epic 6500 Cordwinder

Works great. A little tricky to install. Look closely at where the existing electrical connections are before removing old cordwinder. And the plug is hard to force through the hole in our vacuum on install. But it did work. And I really like the thick round plug. Much easier to unplug than the hardware store replacement plug I had for years.

Took the part to a repair shop and it was the best option. All is good. Others tried to tell us they couldn’t get the part and that we would have to pay $900 as a trade-in on a new vacuum I love your vacuum we buy a lot of things for our vacuum and they’ve all been great so thanks guys super saved us a lot of money and I know you’re there to help is with parts for vacuums

Easy to install. Watch the video. Make sure you pay attention to how the top lead come off to get it back right. The cord hole slot is held in place when you put the top back on. Other than that it was simple. Fix’s good. Works fine.

The cord reel arrived promptly. The video was a real help in installing the reel. The only hard part was getting the vacuum cleaner housing to snap back together. I finally spotted two plastic tabs that needed to click into place on the hose end of the housing. Everything now works like new.
