Electrolux Golden J / Super J Model 1401 Motor

The motor is powerful and works well. It fits perfectly. Only gripe is that it's loud.

The new motor was installed by my husband and only took 3 or 4 hours (no installation materials were included) but he got in installed, cleaned everything inside and it works great - feels like a new vacuum cleaner. Sure glad you had a new motor to purchase.

It fits, but you will need to solder some wires together. Directions on the orientation of the extension would have been helpful. Have not used it yet to determine if it has the same suction as the original.

Received via US mail in less than 2 days. Motor is smaller and noisier than old one. But works very well. If any downside, one of the two wires should be a couple inches longer - making it easier to install. Power & function are very good.

The motor you receive is different than the picture.
