Electrolux Grand Marquise 1521 Metal Hose with Swivel

I needed a new hose because the electrical connector broke on the old one. The replacement hose would not fit into my powerhead sheath, I could only push it in part way, not enough to engage the electrical connector. Support sent me another hose and it did fit. The metal insert on the newer type hose is slightly larger in diameter and will not allow it to be fully inserted into my old powerhead sheath. I think there may be two types out there, older model (cream color) and newer model (grey color). The cream color hose is what I needed and was provided after discovering the first one did not fit.
