the HEPA filter for our Electrolux Intensity takes all the dust and odor out of the vacuum exhaust. we bought the last Intensity from Lowes that was display model so we didn't have manual with it, so bag and filter information was up for grabs.after a few months we notice a rather unpleasant odor from the vacuum. when found out changing the bag or even empting the bag some reduced the odor for a while. I decided to order the Hepa filter from Evacuumstore and after replacing old filter with a new one there was a big difference in odor and vacuum performance. the old heap filter was rather dark in color and blowing it out with compress air really didn't help any. now I have spare filter and plenty of bags that I ordered from Evacuumstore. vacuuming now is more of a pleasure..bill rodgers
