We just finished doing the repair ourselves. Getting the vacuum apart was scary, but Thanks to your photos online we got it done without breaking anything and the switch now works just fine.

The part was what I needed. The vacuum turns off now. I have had the part in for a few weeks but the vacuum is now turning off and on without hitting the switch. I will have to take it apart to see what is going on.
