great vacuum excluding roller ends should be sealed to keep string hair etc. out tends to burn or melt plastic caps. They get clogged with hair string etc.Vacuum has more suction than most exspensive vacuums.

The brushroll is constantly needing cleaning from long hair that clogs up the non-driven end of the roller and causes the bearing to jam. the bearing then gets hot and starts to melt the plastic housing that supports the bearing. The opposite end of the roller where the motor/belt connects does not have the problem.
