Eureka customer service told me you had to buy those and everything which is not true, just like the other person you do have to pry off the old fitting with a screwdriver or something and then the new one will fit.

perfect fit. you will have to pry off the hose from the old fitting to put on new one but it was still very simple. Thanks!!

The product is fine, however unusable . I could not connect to my hose Eureka said the part is sold to consumers already connected to hose. I was not advised of that by e-vac.
