Honeywell H703A Motor

Worked perfectly and the fit was exactly like the original motor. Thank you for continuing to have Honeywell parts for central vacuum systems Honeywell no longer services. These units are excellent and repair is very easy saving me over $2,500 for a $200 fan.

Purchased this to replace the motor on my Honeywell H703A central vac. It was an exact replacement to what was in the motor but here are a few tips. The original motor wires up to the control panel wires using spade connectors. You could probably use wire nuts if you wanted but with the potential for vibrations I wanted to do it the right way so if you don’t have any spade connectors u would suggest buying som. Luckily I have those in multiple sizes so it worked out. Just strip the wires on the new motor, install the spade connectors and connect to the wires from the control panel. My spade connectors had heat shrink built in so I just crimped them on and heated it up for a perfect connection. The original motor had a ground wire that connected to the vac body via a nut but the new motor doesn’t have a ground wire but does have a ground terminal so I just took the existing wire, put a spade connector on it and connected it to the new motor. Tested for functionality and it worked out great. I highly recommend this company and this motor.
