I purchased this as a replacement hose for a c. 1980 Hoover Celebrity Quiet Series 2.6HP (model S3195). The replacement hose is 81 inches long and fits the vacuum perfectly. However, it is not as well-made as the original hose (which lasted nearly 40 years!). This replacement hose is made of lighter-weight vinyl and the fittings at each end are made of lighter-grade plastic than the original hose. Still, it works properly – just not sure that it will last long.

I ordered one of these about 3 years ago and it fit fine. Then a few months ago the projections that hold the hose into the vac. broke off.
