Kenmore Genuine Stick Vacuum Filter Basket 561057103

The Kenmore vac #DS 1030 works , but the brush fills up fast and has to be cleaned often. The vacuum filters cannot be secured so it covers the motor cover. So I bought the filter basket (identified in the vacuum booklet) in hopes the filter would be secured. No it isn’t. The filter basket for model 1030 does not fit and was not made for this model. I need to return the filter basket (561050115. or EBay’s # 561057103). How do I return this part and get a refund for the purchase??
