Miele SUB20 Flexible Universal Brush

Does not fit my Miele S 184 powerhouse Very disappointed because the AD claimed to fit this model

I have the electric/powered canister vac hose and this universal brush does not fit because of the extra power prongs. With a fairly strong grip I can squeeze the end of the brush into the oblong shape required to fit over the mouth of the hose. My wife cannot as her grip strength is much less. Once on the hose, however, this brush performs extraordinarily well and should rightly be considered as part of the required kit for all Miele vacs. I am somewhat annoyed that it does not actually fit ‘all’ Miele canister vacs.

This is an EXCELLENT product for vacuuming books and book cases. Thank you!

THE BAD: The end of the brush that attaches to the vacuum handle is completely different from that of the attachments that came with my Classic C1, which makes it a bit tedious to put on and off. I also feel like a good deal of air leaks thru the base of the brush (where it attaches to vacuum). THE GOOD: The brush is larger than I expected and it seems to stay in position just fine. Despite the above mentioned issues, it does a good job of picking up dust and dirt.

Joints on this brush are so flexible it is tough to keep it in the position desired.
