MIELE, Thank you for not needlessly changing the design on this part over the years! I have a 25+ yr old Miele Solaris model that's still going strong. The plastic part just got brittle over time and cracked off. Thank goodness this new part fit my vacuum. TBH, I only looked at the shape and didn't look to see if the model number was correct. Kudos MIELE for designing a beautiful, timeless looking/working product from the start and not "fixing what ain't broke", like Apple does on their iphones (looking at you charging ports. GRRRR) While somewhat expensive, all MIELE products are worth saving for and owning! Quality Design and Engineering.
