The Nutone CV400 Basic Builder’s Package is essential for someone looking to install a central vacuum into a small home or condo. Covering 2,200 square feet, this Nutone CV400 central vacuum unit packs a punch. Its 15 amp motor transcends its compact size, blasting through any mess in its path with superior suction. The central vacuum is encased in a rugged steel housing coupled with a durable white polyester finish. The 6 gallon polymeric dirt bucket the unit comes with is both dent-resistant and easy-to-remove with its on/off snap release. You won’t have to worry about purchasing bags anymore, as you simply dump the dirt bucket, place it back into the system, and then continue cleaning.


The basic builder’s package also comes with an attachment kit that will have you cleaning your entire home from top to bottom. The 30 foot standard hose stretches across the room to give you the length you need to clean comfortably. Add the two extension wands to the end and you’ll extend your reach all the way to the ceiling! With the dusting brush, upholstery tool, or crevice tool attached to the end of the wand, you’ll be able to clean any surface from between the couch to across the curtains. For your smooth flooring, use one of the two hardwood floor brushes without fear of scratching the delicate tile or linoleum. As an added bonus, a turbo tool is included in the package for free! This turbo tool is perfect for ridding your rugs and carpets of embedded dirt within its fibers.


To go with the power unit and attachment kit, you’ll receive the installation kit to help you get your central vacuum set up.

Along with the 3 inlet valve kit, the basic installation package includes 60 feet of schedule 20 PVC pipe. If you need more piping, it can be purchased separately from the central vacuum pipe page. Wire and glue is also included, so you can wire your inlet valves for low voltage.
