The NuTone VX550 bagless central vacuum unit offers a powerful 550 watt system to clean any home with easy and convenience. The VX550 unit offers both HEPA filtration and anti-microbial protection to remove 99.97% of all dust, dirt and allergens while trapping and removing bacteria better than other competing central vacuum units.
The VX550 features a dual vacuum air intake which allows the trunk line to be connected from the right side, left side, or both if desired. Many central vacuums with the horsepower and wattage of the NuTone would produce a lot of noise; however, the VX550's internal sound suppression sets it apart as the quietest power unit in its class, similar to the Electrolux QuietClean PU3650 central vacuum. The VX550C bagless central vacuum system by Nutone can be easily installed in new or retrofit situations and offers a slim profile that allows the tank to fit into tight corners.
