This vacuum is the same style as the Electrolux Prolux 1500 and the Electrolux commercial upright. This vacuum cleaner also has the same on board tools just like the Electrolux 4000 and 6000 upright vacuum. Since it is modeled after these older style machines, it has been found that those familiar with them have no problem transitioning to the ProCare 15XP.

The ProCare 15XP commercial vacuum is perfect for businesses and homes and can easily tackle both carpets and hardwood floors. The brushroll on this machine is adjustable in height so as to not scratch bare floors!

This is a two motor vacuum cleaner, one motor is for suction, and the other drives the agitator brush. This will ensure that you get a deep down cleaning of the bottom of your carpet. ProCare Models are offered with an internal HEPA media filter and organically treated Intercept Micro Filter that capture up to 99.79% of dust mites, pollen, bacteria and chemical residue measuring 1 micron and larger.

    I was happy to find this vacuum as I love my Electrolux that I purchased in 1990. This is almost identical, but better. The attachments are stored right on the machine instead of in a separate box. It is easy to use and works great. The assembly instructions were not very clear so a bit frustrating. This model comes with 100 bags/micro filter. This was confusing because there is also a motor intake filter, which can be cleaned and reused (2 replacements are included.) But there is also a HEPA media filter, which cannot be reused, and no replacements come with the machine. That’s my main complaint. There is a very long power cord, which is great, but it tends to throw off the balance of the machine when it is in the upright position and not being used. This could be dangerous. Otherwise, I like the machine and would recommend it.

    Assembly instructions are woefully lacking. If you want this for home use ( as my wife and I do) be warned this unit is heavy but it does an excellent job cleaning carpets and hardwood!

    Ordered this vacuum to replace an Electrolux upright that I purchased (and still own) from 1988. I wanted to replace it with something as similar as possible. This vacuum is it! It is like my old model only IMPROVED! All the attachments fit nicely onto the vacuum and I was able to watch a video on website. I am very please with the purchase.
